5th Annual “Capture Your Passion”

Itasca Archery invites you to participate in the fifth annual “Capture Your Passion” Photo Entry Contest.  It is the perfect opportunity to showcase your trophy animal from this year’s hunting season and win prizes.  Check the rules and tips below; a group of photographers will be selected to assist in the final selection of the winners.  The contest is open for archery harvests only.  Make sure that everyone in your hunting party carries a camera during the various archery seasons.  Every animal (deer, elk, bear, etc.) has a chance to win!

Photo Contest Rules and Tips

· Contest valid for animals harvested from August 1^st, 2010 through December 31^st, 2010

· 4”x 6” or 3.5” x 5” color photos only

· One animal and one person in photo

· Entries accepted at Itasca Archery only

· Name, address, phone number, and date of harvest written on back of photo

· Person in photo the same as the one who bagged the animal

· Winners will be announced in January

· Entries must be received by January 1st, 2011

· Always use a flash to take out shadows

· Take photo prior to field dressing

· Take photo close up

· Have bow in photo

· Wear hunting clothes

· Do not sit on animal

· Clean up visible blood and make sure animals tongue does not show

· Use common sense (no buildings, vehicles, sunglasses, beer cans, cigarettes, etc.)

Prizes for the 2010 Contest:

• 1st Place: $300 Itasca Archery Gift Certificate

• 2nd Place: $200 Itasca Archery Gift Certificate

• 3rd Place: $100 Itasca Archery Gift Certificate
